Dr Martin Nash
Dental Surgeon
BDS (Sydney)
Dr Nash is a highly experienced and committed dentist who is an excellent fit with
our high standards and patient friendly philosophy.
He has practiced in London and ran his own successful practice in Westmead for many
years before joining Dentistry by design. “I enjoy being part of a big team.
We have a huge range of different skills, so that we can refer among ourselves and
don’t have to send people away when they need special treatment. In my experience,
patients prefer to stay in the same place.”
As a member of The Australian Asian Association of Dentists, The Endodontic Society,
The Australian Dental Association he has a strong commitment to continuing education
and keeping up to speed in all aspects of Dentistry. Like all clinicians in Dentistry
by design, he frequently attends continuing education courses in Restorative, Endodontic,
Periodontic & Implant Dentistry.
Dr Nash has a gentle touch that over the years has ensured his patients from Westmead
travel in to Balmain to return to him time and time again. He believes all patients,
given good treatment and advice, are able to maintain healthy teeth for a lifetime.
Dr Nash prefers to take a minimalist approach and likes to give his patients choices.
He is a reasonably conservative dentist, which means his aim is to preserve as much
natural tooth as he can. Dr Nash believes that good communication and patient involvement
in treatment is one of the most important aspects of providing a high level of care.
Treatment planning and decisions are best when there is a co-operative effort between
the dentist & patient.
