Dr Christopher Ho graduated in Dentistry with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney and completed postgraduate studies in the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants. Dr Ho is a regularly invited lecturer on aesthetic and implant dentistry within Australia and internationally. He has been trained in multiple implant systems, including the Branemark, Nobel Replace, and Nobel Active systems. His postgraduate implant education has been through the University of Sydney, where he received his postgraduate diploma and he has attended courses at the UCLA College of Dentistry. He is involved with all aspects of implant treatment performing both surgical and prosthodontic phases of treatment. Dr Christopher Ho is one of Australia’s leading authorities on dental implants, teaching and lecturing extensively on the latest developments in dental implant technology and techniques, and has performed over 3000 implant procedures.

Dr John Vassiliadis MBBS, FACEM.

|
|
Dr Vassiliadis is an Emergency Medicine Specialist who is currently working at Royal North Shore Hospital. He trained and was a specialist at Westmead Hospital. He has had training in sedation, anaesthesia, trauma management, trauma ultrasound and toxicology. Currently he is also a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Australian Navy Reserves and recently was part of Australia's medical relief force that was sent to Indonesia after the Tsunami. He has a keen interest in medical education and is involved in training doctors at all levels.

Dr Firoz Vellani MBBS

|
Firoz attained his medical degree in 1992 from the University of Sydney. He went on to do further training in the fields of Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Firoz has over 10 years experience in providing dental sedation. He developed a special interest in this area and currently provides this service to many leading dentists and dental specialists in Sydney - including oral surgeons, endodontists and prosthodontists. He also has extensive experience in providing sedation for patients undergoing dental implants. He has worked with Chris since 2001.
Firoz also practices Emergency Medicine in 2 busy Emergency Departments in the Sydney area.

Victor is a registered Oral Health Therapist; the latest occupation to the dental sector; he is able to offer holistic treatment in conjunction with the dental team, making Dentistry by Design at the forefront of dentistry.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Victor provides both dental hygiene and therapy (paediatric) services. Not only does he actively promote comprehensive dentistry and maintenance, he can also offer you comprehensive dietary counselling, personalised home oral hygiene recommendations, and assist in smoking cessation. His professional and caring attitude will ensure that your concerns are well addressed in a relaxed and professional manner.
With a strong interest into Dental Implants, Victor completed his final year thesis on Dental implants and Surgical Considerations for the Oral Health Practitioner. He has also been bestowed with the Colgate Prize for Dental & Health Science for outstanding effort in second year, as well as high distinctions in both Dental Photography & Radiography.
He is committed to continuing education, and is currently completing a specialised radiography (OPG) course. Victor is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia, and the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside dentistry, Victor has a strong interest in technology and computers. He also has a soft spot for small animals, and is looking forward to meeting with you in your next hygiene visit.

Ashleigh Avnell (Clinical Coordinator)

|
Ashleigh is the practice’s Clinical Coordinator on dental implants. Ashleigh has extensive nursing experience in implant surgery, having assisted Dr Ho over five years as well as assisting in live surgical training of implants.
In addition to the coordination of implant patient communication and implant nursing, Ashleigh is responsible for the post operative care follow up of implant patients, purchasing of implant materials and the training of junior nurses at the practice. Ashleigh’s warm and friendly demeanour will set you at ease at your next implant appointment.
